Hier vind je alles om van je verblijf te genieten zonder de auto te pakken: overdekt en verwarmd zwembad met balneohoek en kikkerbad, strand voor de deur, speeltuin, snackbar. De camping verwelkomt je met zijn 88 plaatsen, waarvan 24 huurplaatsen, verspreid over 1,5 hectare. Voor de camping kunnen visliefhebbers hun hart ophalen. Het is ook een ideaal vertrekpunt voor wandelingen, fietstochten, op de kustpaden of in het omliggende landschap.

To get from the campsite toTharon-Plage, head left along the Boulevard de l’Océan by car, or if you’re feeling more energetic, follow the footpath.. You will end up at a magnificent sandy beach!

Just 200 metres from the campsite, the Parc du Bois Roy is a peaceful, shady place where you can stroll around or have a picnic, with a fitness trail and a playground.

A ten-minute walk from Camping du Bord de Mer brings you to the protected site of Les Terres Rouges with a footpath that offers stunning views of the sand dunes, the cliffs and the sea.

For shellfish gathers, every high tide brings rich pickings on the beach opposite the campsite. Fishermen can fish to their hearts’ content from the jetty in the harbour or at the Etang des Gatineaux (a freshwater lake). To go sea fishing in your own boat, you can launch from the slipway at Comberge harbour..

For sports and active leisure, the Centre Nautique de la Cormorance watersports centre (boardsports, catamaraning, surfing, paddleboarding, sand-yachting etc.) offers price reductions for clients of Camping du Bord de Mer. For those aged 7 and over, Racing Kart Jade has a floodlit track for speed lovers.

Within a radius of a few kilometres you will also find: a mini golf course, cycle hire, a shooting range, tennis courts, boules, a bouncy castle and rides for the tiny tots, not forgetting the library and cinema.

And if you fancy shopping at the market, you have a choice between Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef (Wednesdays and Saturdays during July/August) and Tharon-Plage (Tuesdays and Fridays, free shuttle bus). There is also an evening craft market in Tharon-Plage every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The campsite is in Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef, in Loire Atlantique, on the Jade Coast, between Brittany to the north and the Vendée to the south, between Saint-Brévin and Pornic, approximately 900 metres from the town centre.
